In the Central United States, ( Oklahoma and parts similar to..) it is unusual to have a solid view of the night sky-- all star laden and completely spastic about the whole insignificant speck thing--mostly because of the clouds obstructing ones ability to witness such routine occurences,( they are there every night) and stand in awe, or recline awash in cosmic sprinkles..well you get the picture. I awoke the other morning without the familiar, (if you remember an Arizona star sky,--I remember..) patterns positioning on the horizon, and utilized an urban tool for time..the Conoco station sign lights up when the place opens at 6 AM and you can see it from atop the hill where I have my secret sleeping nook and if one is awake and able to percieve the instant of illumination one can assume it is time to get up.
